Depending on the month that you are getting married in, you should typically hire your videographer about 10-18 months before your wedding date. If you aren’t having a long engagement, your date might still be available.  The earlier you can reserve your date, the better chance you’ll be sure to have us be there!

Depending on which collection you choose there can be anywhere from 1 to 4 videographers.

We average around 3 months, but our contract says within 6 months, unless otherwise notified.

Yes! Simply put, we are covered. Always ask your vendors if they carry insurance, and if they are licensed to be doing work in the Province of BC.

Absolutely! We want to meet with you and get to know you! It helps us, and even makes our job easier when we can sit down and get to know our couples and really listen to how they envision their big day! It’s our job to tell the story, so the more we can learn about you, the better! We typically do check ins at 6 months, 3 months, and 1 month before the wedding to make sure we are all good to go!

Of course we do! We have filmed hundreds of weddings now, and have had the privilege to get to know several wedding professionals. We only recommend the vendors we can trust.

Christopher Allard started in 2012, with his team starting throughout the last decade. We have shot a combined total of well over 250 weddings at this point. We can’t believe how fast the time has flown by, and how many amazing couples we have had the honor of working with over the years! We try to limit video to 25 weddings a year to be sure we can designate enough time to edit amazing films.

The vast majority of wedding videographers illegally use music that is not licensed to be put into their films. We have access to a music licensing company that we can use to purchase licenses on songs. So with our couples, as we get to know you, we do our best to not be creatively stuck in a box with a specific song. That being said, we are up for suggestions, but in 10 years, haven’t had a single couple ask for a different song than the one we picked out.

We honestly never sell you anything you don’t need. That is why we only have 5-star reviews. But, we won’t let the day happen without you knowing fully that you are getting everything you need. We will help you see what is important, and what isn’t. We typically start everyone with a package that covers the day, gets you a feature film, and makes sure you have everything covered. In our 6 month out meeting, we go over the package you have, and make sure we don’t need to add more time, etc.
