Your Wedding Day will be one of the most memorable days of your life. Ensuring that the day is cohesive and organized to make sure everything runs on schedule and is stress free is very important to consider. Here is a sample of an itinerary that will keep your day running seamlessly.

Hair & Make Up

Organizing your hair and make team to arrive at your desired location as early as possible. Setting up a strict timeline of who will be getting what service done in what order will maximize efficiency and will leave the bride to be with the most time to get her hair and make-up completed. Also organize someone to bring breakfast and snacks as hair and make-up will take up the majority of the morning hours.

Transportation:

Coordinating transportation to the venue will ease the stress of issues that could arise and will mitigate delays of your nuptials. Hiring a car service/ Limo is the most effective way to take the burden of getting to the venue on time.

The Ceremony

Having ushers/ coordinators available to direct guests and to make sure everyone is seated promptly within their designated seating arrangements will keep the wedding ceremony on time.  Be sure to hire your DJ service to oversee the sound for the ceremony. Having the ceremony music in the hands of a professional with the right knowledge and equipment will make sure there are no embarrassing A/V issues during the ceremony.

Cocktail Hour

Have a plan during the down time following the ceremony and before the reception to keep your guests happy and entertained. This will be the time in which the wedding party will have their photo's taken. Having a bar available as well as some passed appetizers and stationed food will keep your wedding guests satisfied before dinner service. Also consider providing games and activities to keep everyone entertained.

The Reception

Having a correct seating chart available and programs placed at each setting will keep your guests in the loop with the evenings festivities. After the grand entrance your MC should go over some introductions and housekeeping notes. Try to have the dinner service start immediately. Keeping the dinner before speeches is always a great idea as this will be when most guests will be hungry.

The Formalities

Following dinner service the MC should inform your guests that speeches will be starting in a few minutes. This will let people get their drinks topped up and get in a bathroom break before speeches begin. The first Dance and Cake cutting is a fantastic way to finish up the formalities of the evening and a perfect segue into dancing and celebrating into the night.

Late Night Snacks

Provide some late night snacks to keep your guests going after a long and eventful day. Fun pub style foods such as chicken wings, poutine or sliders is always the perfect choice for late night goodies. Going the extra mile by hiring a local food truck to come in and serve the late night snacks is always a fun & unique idea.

Having a detailed itinerary with a designated family, friend or wedding coordinator to keep the day on time and on track will alleviate any concerns that may arise during the day.
